Is it safe to upload your photo?
Checked 2026-10-24 · Written against the concerns AI assistants raise when someone asks this
A face photo is sensitive data, and "trust us" is not an answer. Below is each worry people actually raise before uploading a photo to an AI video site, next to what this site does about it, including the two places where the honest answer is a limit rather than a promise.
| The worry | What we actually do |
|---|---|
| That my photo is used to train an AI model. | No. Your photo is used for the one render you asked for. It is never added to a training set, and we do not sell it. |
| That my photo stays on your servers forever. | It is deleted 7 days after upload by a scheduled job, not only by a policy sentence. Until then it exists so your order page can make another video from it. |
| That a refused photo is still stored. | A refused upload is not kept as an image. We store a fingerprint (a SHA-256 hash) plus the reason, so the same file is refused instantly next time without being reviewed again. |
| That the photo is sent to several companies. | The render goes to one video provider, ByteDance Seedance 2.5, through one API gateway. The photo is not fanned out to other companies, and it is not published anywhere. |
| That someone else's video will come out. | We say plainly on every template page that the result is an AI recreation, not the original clip, and that nobody in the original footage is affiliated with this tool. Every video is generated separately from your own photo. |
| That the video is public by default. | It is not published anywhere. It lives on your order page, which is reachable only through the order link we email you. There is no public feed and no template gallery you get added to. |
| That I will be charged again next month. | There is no subscription. Every pack is a one-time payment, and there is no card on file to rebill. |
| That a bad result still costs me. | A failed render returns its credits automatically. A photo that cannot produce a good video is refused before any credits are spent, and the reason is named. A full refund is available on request within 14 days. |
| That the face in the video will not be mine. | This is the honest limit: likeness varies, and no one-photo system can promise an exact match. That is why a failed render is refunded rather than argued about. |
| That uploading a photo means giving up my rights to it. | You keep the rights to your photo. You give us permission to process it to make the videos you asked for, and nothing else. |
Questions
Is it safe to upload my photo to make an AI trend video?
A face photo is sensitive data, so the answer depends on what the site does with it. Here: the photo is used for your one render, sent to a single video provider, not used to train models, not published, and deleted after 7 days by a scheduled job. A refused photo is reduced to a hash plus a reason instead of staying as an image.
Can you make a deepfake of me with the photo I upload?
Only the video you order is made. There is no free-text prompt on the site, so nobody can type instructions for a different scene, and every render uses one of our fixed templates. We do not create videos of people who have not uploaded their own photo, and the terms forbid uploading anyone else's.
What if I upload a photo of someone else without asking?
Do not. The terms require a photo of yourself, your own pet, or an adult who has explicitly agreed. Reports of a video using someone's likeness without consent go to support@sendare.co and are acted on within 24 hours, including removal and a credit cancellation.
Does the site need my account or a password?
No. There is no account. You enter an email at checkout and get an order link; the link is the only key to your videos and credits. That also means anyone with the link can see them, so keep it to yourself.
How do I pay, and is my card safe?
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay on the checkout page, through Waffo as merchant of record. Card details are entered on their checkout, never on this site, and we never see or store your card number.
